Newby bHC to HHonors question

I'm new to bHC ownership and was under the impression that current year bHC points could be converted to HHonors points but the website wouldn't let me do it.

Am I mistaken or do I have to call?

Somewhere in the forum, there was a long discussion about this. I think technically, unless you have status, you can't convert this years points unless it is for an immediate stay, however, a person had reported that they were able to convert current year bHC points at 1:32 and they didn't have elite status.

I agree with @HuskerATL in that there was a thread with long discussion on this subject. I also thought that we modified our Sticky to fix whatever was in the rules.

The Sticky seems to state what @HuskerATL stated above. I don’t own bHC so I don’t remember details but maybe @alwysonvac might remember or someone who does own bHC.

Thank you both. I should have explicitly said that I have read the 2024 Club Rules but have a potentially mistaken memory of a discussion of bHC owners being able to use convert current year points to HHonors at 32:1 instead of 13:1.

But that may have just been the ability to convert a portion of next years points at 32:1 instead of having to do all of them.

I've converted bHC points to HHonors points @ 1:32 using both partial current year points and at a separate time the full allotment of a subsequent year's points.

The current year partial point conversion confirmation showed up in the app as 1:32, but when the HHonors points were deposited they only converted @ 1:16. We called HGV and opened a ticket, and the missing HHonors points were deposited into our account by the next day.

We're also Legacy + Max Premier+ but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

For years, partial point conversion for BHC was at a reduced rate (see links to older Club Rules) but as @HuskerATL shows the 2024 rule changed that.
Honestly, I thought it was an error but I guess it's another change to attract folks to BHC (similar to dropping NYC OS rates).
@GT75 please removed the table I created in post #7 (link) in the Sticky thread and keep the remaining content. Thanks
