hi everyone i am new to ts and i have tons of questions. i hope you all don't mind. i'll tell you what i am sure of, i am sure i want to buy a resale in the orlando area, i want a two bedroom eoy and probibly a floating week.

a few questions to start. whats going on with the assesments, how would i know if i will be charged one? what is a lock out? what does a mandatory resort mean? how much should i be paying on a resale? i have seen prices as low as $1200.

thanks in advance.

Welcome! Check the top of the Starwood section for a bunch of permanent stickies. Read them all. :) Then you'll know a bunch and have a TON more questions. We'll answer everything we can! And read the newbie section of the board -- lots of things to think about, like where you want to go and how much money you want to spend.

Good luck!

Welcome to TUG! :hi:

The best place for you to start doing you homework is the Starwood FAQ posted at the top of this board.

Then check out the Owner Resources Sticky in the same place - there is a list there of current ebay prices for Starwood timeshares.
