NYC lost me eight years ago as a resident. I do come back and have a small studio to visit, as my mom still lives there.

This past weekend my well to do cousin said it best. You don’t realize how bad it is to live in NYC until you live somewhere else. I agree with her.

NYC is nice to visit but I will never live there again. Almost everyone I know who is still in the city says they will never leave. Thinks where I live is not great BUT they never experienced another place to live nor visited where I live.
