New Westin Resort at Frenchman's Reef - St. Thomas --- Will MVCI Frenchman's Cove Guests Be Permitted to Use Facilities? [MERGED]

With the new Westin Resort at Frenchman's Reef - St. Thomas opening soon--- Will MVCI Frenchman's Cove Guests Be Permitted to Use Facilities as they were able to when the neighboring property was the Marriott Frenchman's Reef & Morning Star Resort?
 
There was a post a few weeks back that confirmed that the renovated Westin will continue the relationship with the MVC Frenchmans Cove. I'll see if I can find it.
 
Well, I was unable to find the prior post so I checked over at the FB page and this is what I found from a recent post "We were told this week that Cove guests are welcomed at the Westin Reefs hotel but Cove guests will not be able to charge Reef expenses to their Cove room. Also the shuttle bus will resume and a new walkway will be created between the 2 locations." But, this does fall in the category of heresay unless I find the thread that I read. We just got back and had a great time, you can tell that they are working daily to finish the Westin.
 
A Newsletter from the FC recently said "we're happy that we'll again be able to enjoy the hotel amenities". The question is does that mean the pools? It would be nice if the pools were accessible again as I guess they were in the past pre-hurricanes in 2017 but if not just the access to the 6 restaurants and the beach will be a nice addition to the area. Pools would be icing on the cake.

Yes, lots and lots of activity. It’s good to see for a change. Also, looks like reservations are available in July 2023 ( didn’t test earlier dates)

Thinking of using 2 banked Aruba interval weeks for FC which are currently showing available. Does anyone know whether FC guests can still use the hotel facilities aka beach chairs/umbrellas etc at the new Westin, as we were not too crazy about the actual FC small beach ?
 
Hotel is accepting reservations for check-in as of May 15, 2023

Still haven’t seen anything about permitted use of facilities or room charges.
 
Latest post I have seen(I am multi week Cove owner)states use of pools, pool chairs and beach chairs will be for Hotel guests only. Remember, before the Hotel was managed by Marriott, and not there is no company connection between Frenchman's Cove and Frenchman's Westin. This Weston is not owned or managed by Marriott.

If they want to have Cove guests come over and spend money there, then they're going to have to allow use of facilities. Sorry but I'm not going to go to the pool/beach bar for lunch and drinks and not be able to use a chair.
 
I'll still look forward to using the property's other amenities, like the restaurants if they're good, and the beaches are always free to use. Ans if I accidently fall in the pool on the way back to the Cove I doubt anyone will notice.
