We just checked in to Bent Creek Golf Village. They told us we need to do an update because the whole website is changing and we need to learn how to use it. They said they will be blocking access to the old website for Diamond owners and we need to transition to the new one. They also said there is a change in how to roll over points . The new website is apparently live and called One Console.
Anyone heard any of this?

They will come up with anything. Even the most preposterous things to try and get people to sign up for a timeshare presentation/owner update. If you sign up on this premise, you show up and ask about the new website. The salesperson will look at you like you got two heads.

They changed the website a year or so ago.

Amazing story to get you to an update (sales presentation). Tell that person that a salesperson certainly won’t be able to explain this change and you will wait for the email update.

I have had no problems with the website and I know they changed it awhile ago.
they were saying it is now called One Console. I realize it was most likely not true, just wondering if anyone else had been told this.
Thanks

Thanks, just what we suspected

I am thinking of buying into a Prime Travelers Club membership with blue Diamond Resorts ( Royalton Hotels).

For $14K USD ( total for ) for the 10 years, you get the below :

- 1 week free vacation at their Grenada Royalton property all- inclusive for 2 adults and 3 kids ( this is a one time gift )
- 1 gift certificate of $5K USD to spend at their travel agency with hotels. ( you can only use this to pay for 50% of the total cost for each reservation and it's a one time thing)
- 2 weeks per year with Interval International at $350 USD each.
- 2 flyback air credits $1K usd each for 10 years.
- Able to book any different resort hotels through their system for between 30-60% off and up to 5 rooms at a time.
- Diamond club access at all properties.

** it's not based on points nor week slots.

Anyone know about this club or membership

How do you like Bent Creek Golf Village?
So far we are enjoying it. we have a one bedroom, and it is fine for us. It has a washer and dryer. There are gas grills available.
it is away from all the touristy areas of Gatlinburg etc. we can enter the park easily from Greenbrier or Cosby, but not a lot of trails there.
No one has contacted us about the update since check in.

Why are sales people allowed to tell outright lies to guests to attend a timeshare presentation? Hedge funds companies, TS developers and the big hotels companies all want more money from vacationers. IMHO.

You are lucky. During our August stay, aside from lobby people, the downtown office also called us with a offer worse than the lobby.
We also were told about a new website, we should attend an update to see how this works.
