Everyone,
I recently reserved a timeshare through Vrbo at Wyndham. I have already paid the full amount, but the owner said my name will not be listed as a guest until 48 hours before check-in. My check-in date is Feb 13-16. Is this normal for renting a timeshare from a owner?

Just a guess but, it may be due to the cancellation window for the reservation. Once you enter that 48 hour time period and are unable to cancel without still having to pay, chances are you'll keep the reservation. At that point, the owner is secure you will keep the reservation and he/she will contact the resort and provide them your information. If you're outside that window you may cancel without any cost. They may not want to contact the resort with your information simply because you can still cancel.

Not that it's hard to do so for the owner(s) but, everyone is different.
