saw this posted and it appears the existing portal will go away next month. based on feedback ive seen, they still have a few bugs to work out before then!
I registered for the new portal, and it noticeably doesn't show the future years points balances correctly, only shows the amount you're eligible to borrow. I have some global choice points in 2026, and it let me use them to book but didn't show the balance anywhere.
It is pretty rough. I would say that the fact that they did not have certain core pieces of functionality operational before sunsetting the old site is beyond frustrating.
Here is a good example of the experience their availability search is supposed to show only available days and then they show this. These are dates that should have availability appearing.
The new website still doesn't have a way to book the MaxTime deals. Now, the only option is to call the HICV phone number. Why would they take away a booking method?!
I just checked last night and it did not show our May reservation! I called this morning and the reservation is still in place, I just can't see it in the portal.
The portal still will not allow booking bonus time at the remaining Silverleaf resorts. The old website allowed you to download an accounting of your points (additions and subtractions) for the previous years, present year and upcoming year. Portal, nada, ziltch, tough luck.
I find that calling is the best way to book now although I preferred to see the availability so I can book around that instead. I have a lot of free time. I can say the reservation team has never given me problems when I called in when I know what I wanted to book.
Portal is janky and I will get randomly logged out during my session while I'm browsing availability. And you cannot seem to see or book the maxtime offers as mentioned in previous post when it launched.
I'm convinced even more that HICV is doing shady things with their availabilities.
