I may be out of luck but I thought I'd try

Got word today my first Wyndham purchase is done
Called Wyndham and they confirm the account is setup and I can even make a reservation
However I cannot setup my web account without my member number and thy say it can't be given over the phone and it may take 4-6 weeks to get my new owner packet

Is there anyway to short circuit this and get my membership number sooner?

call back..ask again...it they wont do it ask owner relations

Or call the title and transfer folks..I bet they will do it

If the above fails, call and ask to speak to the Escalation Department. The problems with what you are being told is that they can look you up under your phone number. They then ask a lot of question that you can answer that they have in the system. Then they answer your questions. In the meantime, I think they are right, you can call reservations and make a reservation. Heck, that me be the best thing to do, then when they are making the reservation, ask them for the account number. I would not recommend this one but if all else fails, visit with a Sales Wessal and pretend to be interested in buying a timeshare. Trust me, they will find you.

The Title line gave me my member number last week over the phone, I still have not got my letter.

I received my letter a few weeks after I got my number, I had already booked a few vacations before the letter arrived. So it was best that you called to get the number.

As a conclusion to this request --

Vacation Counselors do not have access to this information

I verified Title does and can provide the information (note they are not open on the weekends)

Additionally, Owner Relations won't directly provide the numbers, but if you are like me, looking to setup your web account, they will create it for you and send you temporary credentials, allowing you in, which includes sending the contract/member numbers to your registered email address.

Thanks for all the responses and inputs -- took 5 months, but I finally have my first TS fully active...

Since I am posting in the Wyndham area :) Newbie question here -- I am unable to see search past the end of the year, or at least I can't figure out how to...

If I am looking for something for next year (January) -- Do I need to call to check availability or am I missing something?

Your booking window is 10 months - now Xmas day Dec 25, 2011. Too early to book online.


If you are trying to do ARP booking bases on your deed location or via Club Access, you have to call into the VCs.
