New LOV Group-Join Us

Just rejoined :)

I was just thinking about this group last night and wondering what happened to the new group... I just sent my request to rejoin. :cheer:

We're up to 25 members. I really missed the group.

I've been incommunicado for a while, so I've missed months of posts. What happened to the original group? I've applied to rejoin, so I'm hoping to get some more holidays in from 2008.

Cheers,
Ellend

Thanks, it must be kismet, I haven't logged on for ages and the day after it all starts up again here I am.

I spend 10 weeks in Australia visiting family and backpacking round the east coast (exhausting but fun) and I have sold my home, now in the process of buying another and moving to another area of the country.

Provided it goes without a hitch and I'm settledin, as a good friend once said to me - mi casa, su casa.

Cheers

Hi Ellen,

Good to hear from you again. We've missed you. Are you "retired" now or are you working again? I was over in July to visit my DD and new grandson but we didn't go anywhere. I was thinking about you while I was there. Where are you moving?

Hello Pat,

Nice to hear from you.

No, I'm not retired, but I was made redundant last year. That's when I decided to sell and move to another part of the country. There was a variety of reasons behind the decision - time to move on, nothing to keep me in the area I was living, neighbours I don't want to live next to, finding better scenery.

So I am moving to Ross-on-Wye (the legalities of house buying in England permitting, it's horrible. Don't do it. When selling my house it took more than seven months between accepting an offer and moving out).

Ross is a lovely town and in a very touristy area, so I expect to find loads of LOVers knocking on my door. My only problem will be finding some work, but I'm versatile, I'll have a go at most things. (I wonder if they have a pole-dancing club in Ross?)

Cheers

Ellen, you can always open a tea room and serve high tea! The one you did in Cancun was excellent! Hope to see you soon.

Ellen,

So good to see you on line after such a long absence! I bought a condo that's waiting for you to visit again. It's only 4 miles from where I used to live. Mi (and the bank's) casa, su casa... :hi:

Hugs,

I'm interested but...

I thought I had joined Yahoo, but can't find my sign 0n or password, and they want one or the other. I joined the LOV group before and wondered what had happened. I'm closer to retirement now, and bought a place in Colorado, so when I am on the Mainland, meeting with others will be more feasible.

I sent you a PM.

Thanks for bringing this group back. I wanted this to come up to the top in case some other women would like to join and didnt see it the first time.

Im so excited to go on a trip with you all.
