FYI, for future reference, you shouldn't have to cancel and rebook (and this can be risky if inventory is low). IME, if you just change the reservation and pick the same dates again it will refund the points. There are some reports that one of the reservation system models (they're in flux with two now), may not allow a change if you're holding the only inventory. But worth a try before cancelling. Thanks for the heads up! I was able to save 13k+ points by cancelling and rebooking my upcoming vacation to Kings Land!
I had to a day and saved it. Then changed the reservation again and removed the extra day. Wouldn’t let me just rebook like last time.FYI, for future reference, you shouldn't have to cancel and rebook (and this can be risky if inventory is low). I was excited to save 6K at Kingsland. Thanks for the heads up! I was able to save 13k+ points by cancelling and rebooking my upcoming vacation to Kings Land!
I had Kings' Land 2x 1BR reservations I was able to modify because they had inventory available for our dates. Saved 7k points total. There are some reports that one of the reservation system models (they're in flux with two now), may not allow a change if you're holding the only inventory.
I have 3 rooms for the same time period at the Elara. Unfortunately system wouldn't let me choose the same dates to change. I had to modify either by adding/subtracting a day then reverting it back. I could only modify one of the rooms. The other 2 I had to cancel and rebook. I took a chance and did it late at night. It was a little nerve wracking because the inventory did not refresh immediately, took about 15 mins. Interestingly the system allowed me to modify under 60 days and that's not supposed to happen.FYI, for future reference, you shouldn't have to cancel and rebook (and this can be risky if inventory is low). Since system won't let you modify maybe calling Customer Service can help. However, we also have a 2BR reserved and not able to modify it because no other 2BR are currently available for our dates and I'm nervous to cancel and try to rebook without losing it.
I did this at La Pacifica too, actually changed room types for Christmas and it took about an hour to show up again. Very strange.I shortened a La Pacifica reservation by a day and then looked to add it back. That day never returned.
I added a day on the front end, saved, then removed it. More points back in the bucket!Since system won't let you modify maybe calling Customer Service can help.

Call CSR because sometimes single days don’t show up on our web versionI shortened a La Pacifica reservation by a day and then looked to add it back. That day never returned.
I did the same, went from 16,800 points for 11 days in 2 bedroom this July to now after savings discount only using 10840 for 11 day. Which seems insane to me for a 2 bedroom at Kings Land lolI added a day on the front end, saved, then removed it. More points back in the bucket!
It’s ok. I booked a fun hotel for the first night.Call CSR because sometimes single days don’t show up on our web version
