New eBay seller: alltimevacations-2008 (Merged threads)

The ad states that "Closing will be handled by a Licensed, Bonded, and Insured Title Company", but no title company is named and they want payment sent to their own e-mail address via Paypal within five days of end of auction. Obviously, some due diligence is in order before I bid and potentially send several thousand dollars into cyberspace.

Don't take my word for this, but if you go to the Department of Insurance for the State of Tennessee, the agency that LICENSES title agencies, you will not find a license out there for American Timeshare Closing, which would indicate to me that they are neither licensed or insured. I know in Tennessee to get my title license, not only did the company have to be licensed as an agency, I had to be personally licensed and I was required to provide copies of my E&O insurance, Fidelity Insurance and post a surety bond in Tennessee....

alltimevacations-2008

A couple days ago the DH was thinking of bidding on one of the properties by this guy, but I remembered this thread and told him NO WAY. Then the DH sent a note to ebay letting them know of our concern that this person may not be fully legit. Ebay has sent a note back saying they are looking into it.

If others have even more evidence that this person is not OK (email sigs, etc), please send that to ebay also. The WKORV he has up with no reserve is now at $15K+ --I'd hate for some unsuspecting person to be fleeced by this seller! And the bidder ID's being kept private doesn't feel too good, either.

I just won an auction from them. They are part of IA vacations. I have dealt with them many times in the past on eBay and it was fine. I dunno if I would bid on that WKORV right now on auction for $15000 already, but I didn't have a reservation about sending in the $3300 for my platinum SDO!

I'll keep everyone posted on the progress but so far so good. It's not Wanted Weeks (thank goodness) and I know they have been around for a while on eBay so I don't feel bad. I signed the standard contract and it is supposed to go to their "closing service" Monday.

I paid via Paypal to an email address and had to open a new account because I wanted it to go on my credit card in case I have to dispute something.

It's interesting to note that alltimevacations-2008 is building up its eBay Feedback rating by purchasing small-ticket items including baseball cards priced at $0.99 to $14.85. They currently have only a single feedback as a Seller.

Can anyone provide a summary as to their recent dealings with Redweek4less on ebay? I just won an auction from them and have been in contact with Stacy. I want to be prepared for what is in store for me. Thanks

alltimevacations-2008 - feedback

I loooked at their feedback - it is 100% positive - 59
BUT.... all but one feedback is from 2006 AND most of that is as a BUYER - not as a SELLER...
so in the case of selling anything, that feedback means NOTHING
I would definately Stay clear!

Redweeks4less

Can anyone provide a summary as to their recent dealings with Redweek4less on ebay? I just won an auction from them and have been in contact with Stacy. I want to be prepared for what is in store for me. Thanks

We purchased a TS from Redweeks4less (note the plural), which was IAVacations. American Timeshare Closing handled "escrow" (If you can call it that... the two firms are related somehow. If not by ownership, then by a close business partnership.) Not sure why they operate under so many different names and accounts, though.

IAVacations was *very* responsive in my dealings with them. The first communication was with Stacy, and from then on everyone else was always helpful and quick to respond to questions I had.

American Timeshare Closing got the job done, but I always had to follow up on my inquiries. They promise to respond in 24 hours, but typically they never did and I would always end up calling them at 24 hours and 1 minute.

One time I had trouble getting a response from Michelle, our designated contact; I contacted IAVacations and the nice fellow followed up with them for me. I believe their offices are in the same building, so he was able to immediately walk over to check. So I'd give Redweeks an "A" and American Timeshare Closing a "C+".

Hope this helps.

has anyone sent a note to ebay letting them know of this change. If they booted them off once they want to boot them off again but are just not aware of the new "name"

Isn't this another group associated with Jon and Antonio Comas (Lakeside Closings, Take Over My Timeshare, Timeshare Rescue, etc, Summit Title, etc...)..

Can Anyone answer this question? Are all these companies related?

Isn't this another group associated with Jon and Antonio Comas (Lakeside Closings, Take Over My Timeshare, Timeshare Rescue, etc, Summit Title, etc...)..

I'm involved with Jon Comas (Memorable Vacations/Lakeside Closings). Problems, problems, problems. During this dispute, I won an auction recently through SellingTimeGuys. I have bought several timeshares from them using their closing company Elite Transfer. While they are not as fast in completing the deeding/transfer as I would like, I have never had any problems with them. When I won, I got the automated "Congratulations" with this:

Seller:sellingtimeguys [contact seller]
Seller Information:Antonio J Comas
Oakland, FL 34787 United States

ANTONIO J COMAS

Is he any relation to Jon?

Immediately, I questioned whether to go through with it or not. The following day the documents were sent by Anna Hickman, whom I have communicated with in the past.

Since I haven't ever had problems with anyone at SellingTimeGuys (100% feedback) or Elite, I proceeded forward with confidence.

All these folks are out of central Florida and seem to be inter-mingled between all of these PCCs/timeshare resellers.

Since this thread is older, obviously Jon Comas has been doing this for awhile. Does anyone know if Antonio and Jon are related? If so, I might suggest that Jon go work at SellingTimeGuys like his relative. I've already told him that he might want to follow the business models of some of the other timeshare resellers on eBay that have 1000's of feedbacks and manage to keep very high feedback scores, as well as provide answers to Buyer questions and back-up what they're selling.

I was just researching alltimevacations-2008. In the feedback (97.8%), I saw three Buyers that I think are TUGGERS. They all gave positive feedback; however, in TUG threads, the feedback isn't quite as positive. :(
