I just purchased my 2nd contract ( resale ebay ), the deal has closed. Under Ownership Summary on website my 2 contracts are fixed week ( converted to points ) and UDI, I know they're the same thing but is there any advantage or disadvantage to having them titled either way ???

Thank you

For a fixed week converted to points you can only ARP that week (and unit) specified on the deed. So if you have a "good" week you can wait until 10 months and 1 day and be guaranteed your week! :)
MF can be more or less then a UDI. Depends on week and resort.

Give Wyndham reservations a call and asked what your ARP availability is on the two contracts. If you are getting the 13 month ARP at any point in the year you are set. Also, check you financial fees section on line and make sure they are not charging you for 4 contracts instead of two. Are the deeds weeks or UDI?

The two main differences are:

* ARP rights. UDI can be used for any time of year. Converted fixed weeks can be used only for that specific week/unit.

* Payment schedules. UDI deeds pay for the year of use during that year. Fixed weeks pay for a year of use during the year prior.

They are what they are...you cant title them either way, ie you cant change from one to the other

Fees are billed differently fees for converted fixed weeks are estimated a year in advance and paid in advance .and your udi are paid as you go...but the calculations are pretty much done in the backgtround and somewhat invisable to you

In the ARP window what you can reserve is different for udi and converted fixed weeks. In the standard reservation windo , points are points

So would this make sense:

182000 points program fee $92.82
84000 points program fee $42.84

For program fees, that would be possable numbers. The owners summary section of the Wyndham cite should give you a break out of the fees, including program fees rate per thousand. If I remember right, you have to go to the contract summary section.

Correct, but I thought I once read that there was a maximum program fee ???

I don't know about that but there is a minimum program fee of $98 without PlusPartners and $117 with PlusPartners. This is a disadvantage for small contract owners and an advantage for large contract owners.

I own two contracts, one 161k EOY and one 77k. The program fee for the first one is $117 and the second is zero.
