New Club Conversion

Hi everyone!
We just converted our 25 year old Orange Lake 2 BR week membership to 128000 points in the new system. Actually it was a new purchase of 30k points for $7k and 98k points for the old week,
Total, 128k points.

The first RED FLAG is I can't even log in to the website to check our membership and to check the prices of other places we might want to travel. Just called member services and they said it will take a few weeks for our membership to process and then we can log on to the site. That's weeks beyond the rescind date.

I saw here on TUG where someone posted an annual HIVC member's newsletter (probably the wrong title). Where was it located please?

Here's our concern; We have had a lot of success trading our week into RCI points for 20+ RCI points and stay at Orange Lake for 5-8 RCI points, which gives us several stays for the same banked week, PLUS enough left over for other resorts.
Now, I'm trying to see what the 128000 points will get us outside of HICV, and have no where to look.
Any ideas?
I have a couple of days left. I'm thinking about rescending
The second RED FLAG is that in the purchase contract, the 30k points says Tahoe Ridge in NV, Not orange Lake in FLA. Does this matter? I have no idea what the other Holiday Inn Resorts are like. We've only stayed at OL, or traded elsewhere.
How often, and how successful have people at my level traded into the IHG and other Hotels?

What did you end up doing? I wouldn't worry about the 30,000 points being assigned to the Tahoe Ridge, I have a 30,000 point contract also at Tahoe Ridge. That is actually a good thing because it will give you a free gold membership in interval. Once your account is online you will be able to trade all 128,000 points through RCI or Interval.

I would not be concerned about this. IDK about legacy OLCC data, but in the case of Silverleaf, legacy weeks accounts were on a mainframe computer.

If you read the club guide, the conversion of HICV points to RCI Points is 2 HICV points equals 1 RCI point. That means your 128000 HICV points will convert to 64000 RCI Points.

What did you end up doing?

Thank you for your reply. I spoke with a family we met back in 1999 who had bought the same day we bought. They "Flipped" a couple of years ago and assured us that it would be ok lol.
I would've rescinded had I not spoken with them.
