Extra credit for travel or destination films. We like the Netflix suggestions, but it seems a little tedious going through them. We're not too into shoot-em-up's, or crashes, but a good who-dunit is appreciated. Thanks everyone....

Not sure if its offered by Netflix, but Mr. Brooks with Kevin Costner was a nail biter. Very suspenseful with a surprise ending.

do you mean watching online instantly? that really narrows the selections down quite a bit!

I enjoy catching up on old series' that I may have missed out on.

all the old law and orders, or even way old school like miami vice =D

endless hours of entertainment there!

Inside Man and Vantage Point. I'm not into violent films either, and these do have some shooting, but both have excellent suspenseful plots. I've seen both 2-3 times and would see them again.

Mama Mia! and Meet Dave both get thumbs up.

House of Games.

Old movie, but you probably never saw it. It says it's only available for instant viewing until Dec 28.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We're a bit house-bound here on account of snow and DW's soon-to-be 92-year-old Dad who came from sunny Texas to visit. We just have the minimum 1 DVD out at a time plan, but can watch the instant-view movies. I found the 'Starz collection on Netflix which does have some thousands of mostly older films and TV shows available. We aren't big movie buffs, and haven't seen most of those anyway.

Thanks again. Meanwhile out with a snow shovel......

try checking out some of the "suggestions" there based on your ratings...ive found quite a few movies I would have not normally watched that werent half bad!

especially if I was snowbound!
