Hi there, I have had a Westgate timeshare (home base located in Las Vegas) that I cannot afford anymore. Nor have I used it at all. It has Interval International to exchange for international travel. Would someone be willing to buy this from me?

How much are the maintenance fees?

Westgate may take it off your hands. Though you may need to pay them to do it. Unfortunately that may be the easiest and quickest way out. Even though the fee could be $1500-$3000 it is less than a couple years of maintenance fees.

Westgate places some onerous rules on resale ownership, nobody is likely to want it, return it to Westgate.

@SmithOp is correct.
Westgate punishes resale buyers with rules that make the timeshare very difficult to use.

Contact the management company.
Or stop paying and let them foreclose.

If it's paid off, list it in the Market place for free and pay closing. Maybe you'll get lucky.
