I own 10,000 plus Bluegreen points and I've never used the program once! It is paid in full. Need to sell desperately, very motivated. I know most things are a scam. How do I sell and get out from under this, it just doesn't fit our lifestyle and we can no longer afford the maintenance fees. Please help steer me in the right direction. There has to be a way out!!!!

Sad to say the only way you are getting rid of it is to give it away and pay the $450 transfer fee unless you have a highly sought after location with a high demand week. If you look on eBay they are a dime a dozen. I bought 10,000 points deeded week 27 at Carolina Grande (thats July 4th week 4 out of 7 years) for $55. It included the transfer fees also. My second was 35,000 for $1 on eBay that came with 1150 saved points. The first I got off here was $1 and it came with 8000 saved points and paid transfer fees. Please pay close attention to the next part because it is information you need to know so you can post it. Experienced owners are going to want to know and will ask for this so save yourself the headache and gather it before posting.

1. You need to know the deeded resort, week and unit #
2. Are the points annual or biennial
3. When is the points anniversary date and when are the maintenance fees due
4. What Trust Fund are the points in? You are going to have to call customer service to find out.

After you have all that look up these Facebook groups and post there. Bluegreen Addicts, Bluegreen Owners buy and sell, Bluegreen Resort Owners (BRO), Bluegreen Vacation Club and then join the yahoo BGEx group. I may be interested in them myself depending on the location. If you have any questions feel free to message me. To start the transfer process once you have a "buyer" you simply find link on the BG website.

I know most things are a scam. How do I sell and get out from under this..

It's good that you realize that many things are a scam. As Doritoguy/Tim pointed out, your possession is probably worth about zero dollars on the resale market. So if you get an unsolicited phone call saying they can sell your week for tons and tons of money, then you'll know it's a scam

The other thing we caution people in your situation against is certain transfer or relief companies that promise to get you out of your TS if you pay them a big upfront fee. Again, as Doritoguy/Tim pointed out, there are many options for unloading a BG contract that don't involve paying some company thousands of dollars.

I recently helped another Tugger find a taker for his BG ownership and I'm looking for a certain unit myself.

Click on my blue username and send me an email. I will point you in the right direction and along with the info in post #2 I will tell you how to make it easier to get rid of.

Or if you want to learn how to use I can point you in that direction also.
