Need Some Help With Priceline

so i want to use priceline to make a car res. for 1 day at DTW. the problem is i want to return the car at GRR the following day and i can't seem to be able to do this on PRICELINE. it only gives me the 1 option to pickup / return at DTW. so what am i doing wrong?
going the regular rental route(carrentals.com) it costs ALMOST as much to rent for 1 day as the ROUND TRIP TICKET TO FLY
HELP PLEASE.

one way priceline car rentals

Priceline allows you to drop off at different locations only from "select" airports. From the priceline FAQ:
Can I get a one-way rental through priceline?

Yes. You can book a rental car reservation with a different pick-up and drop-off location (also known as a "one-way" rental). For example, you can enter a pick-up location in Orlando and a drop-off location in Miami if that is where you will end your trip.

One-way reservations are currently limited to airport locations only (for example, pick-up at Orlando International Airport and drop-off at Miami International Airport.) There may also be a "drop-off" fee charged by the rental car company. One-way rentals from off airport locations will be available soon.

Note: One-way rentals are available with our Name Your Own Price ® service in select locations. More locations are available with our "Shop & Compare" service where you can choose your rental car company and rate upfront.

If it doesn't give you the option it probably is not available in that location.

Priceline also has both a conventional reservation system (similar to Expedia or Orbitz) as well as the "name your own price" feature. The last time I checked PL for a one way rental it appeared that the "name your own price" feature does not allow one way rentals.
