I am in the process of booking a unit for a shortstay, and the system is requiring me to renew my gold status. I have the regular membership, but my gold portion id expiring soon.
Thanks for the quick response!
It is for my in-laws. With the price of the guest certificate, the difference between gold and platinum for a year was only an additional $16. Thought I'd check out platinum and see how it goes...
Your gold membership must also be good through the date of the exchange you are looking to make. Not sure if you are gold already or not. If you are, that could by why II is asking you to renew. If you aren't, II will let you search ShortStays without gold membership, but in order to confirm an exchange you need to upgrade.
