We traded into Timber Lodge the first week in August. We did not add on the Flex exchange to the reservation. We are in NJ and do not feel comfortable traveling to Timber Lodge in August. What are my options at this late date in time? Do I just count it as a lost week?

You can cancel your exchange on II.
You lose your exchange fee and will need to pay a new one when you book again with your replacement week. You will be subject to flexchange if you are less than 60 days from check in when you cancel.
Have a look at the II buyers guide for the cancellation policy or give II a call.
The only other choice would be in you have a friend who wants to use the week and you could buy a guest certificate for them.
Those are really the only choices-you can‘t sell your exchange and II isn’t offering special cancellation policy for August.

There is a lot of uncertainty right now. My wife and I were invited to a wedding in South Lake Tahoe on the 7th of August, with a bunch of activities the week prior. We live on the East coast. Honestly, we don’t even know if the wedding is still going to happen as planned. If you are going to face the loss of your week, we might be interested in your week. Hopefully things work out in your favor!
