Hi all, my husband and I were thinking about buying a timeshare and decided to rent a one week stay at star island resort in Kissimmee from someone on ebay to see what the resort was like. Our stay has been a nightmare. Checked in Sat and we were put in a room with a broken air conditioner. It was over 80 degrees and the resort didn't have another room to put us in. Moved us to another room the next day and the bedroom our kids were staying in completely flooded from the air conditioner. At 10pm that night they gave us keys to another room. When I contacted the ebay seller they said there was nothing they could do that they were just a Booker. Any thoughts or advice for us? I don't know what we can do as we aren't the timeshare owners.

Sorry to hear of your issues. If you post the name of the Resort you may be able to obtain better responses.

Aren't you glad that you are just taking a test drive and are renting instead of buying ? You now know that this is one particular resort in which you want nothing to do with.

That's a great way to look at it!
