A relative has asked me for advice on setting up a Disney cruise. I'm hoping someone can provide some tips.

They would like to plan a Disney cruise in Florida. There's plenty of advance notice here - they want to travel in July or August of 2008, when their son will be 9.

Also, they would like to find a way to make payments on the cruise fare.

Any ideas on where to start looking? What companies would offer the best deals on Disney cruises? Also, what companies allow you to make periodic payments on the fare?

Thanks in advance.

I see deep discounts on Disney cruises at www.vacationstogo.com. They are a big outfit and have been around awhile. They can make payments by charging their trip on a credit card.

Do not make partial payments to ANY travel company, if they go bankrupt you can have a lot of fun collecting your own money.

Use a credit card so you have them protecting you (or them in this case).

compare vacationstogo.com to allseastravel.com... We have used them both and they are exceptional cruise companies. Nice gifts when you get on the boat too. A nice touch I think.

In July and August '08, the Disney Magic will be in California for the summer - so that leaves the Wonder which does Sunday thru Thursday (4 night) and Thursday thru Sunday (3 night) cruises each week to the Bahamas.
