Need Discount Auto Rental for Orlando ASAP

Thanks for the reminder about Undercover. I briefly looked at their website a few days ago.

FYI - just checked and buying a drink voucher at AMC also triggered the call rental discounts.

For those of you with the UT pricing, is it really that much better? I'm looking for a week in August, but will not pay $500+. OnSite at WDW so not really needed, but I would prefer to have one. Our last 2 trips we went without because of pricing and just did Uber if needed a couple of times.

Still reading some horrible stories about the rentals at Orlando. I'm now booked with Thirty and Hertz for this Saturday, but the reviews for Hertz aren't that good either. I don't want to wait two or three hours on line, especially with flights being canceled since last week everywhere. So, does Turo have it's own insurance, or is that another fee we must add to the booking? I'm now considering booking one of their cars.

You can find out about what turo says about insurance on their website:

NEVER rent a car thru an airport. Why? The tax rate is far higher than that of the nearest city due to "airport taxes". And as you alluded, service lines can be an issue. With that said, check out the rates of cars in the City of Orlando itself.

Use Uber to get to your pick up point and return your car (FYI - they may let you drop it off at the airport). Granted, not as convenient but you will save money on taxes, and you "may" save on the actual daily or weekly rate. Additionally the service lines may be better.
