I don't think attending with no intent to buy is a scam. Especially when they will say it's not a timeshare and try to call it everything else when you say no to attending. They keep upping the ante for one to attend. I had one try to tell me how to get out of the presentation once it started trying to get me to attend. I feel for those that are scammed with promises of rental revenue, trade value, and tricked into thinking they can't rescind.
