Some of you may remember my previous posts asking for help with my drinking problems. No, for those of you who don't remember, it isn't alcohol.

Mostly I drink water, although I *do* have coffee or herbal tea in the morning. But aside from that caffeine, my beverages should be caffeine free, sugar free, and fizz free. Oh, and no energy drinks. Doesn't leave much, does it?

Well, with all these new "drops" you can put in your water. I tried Mio, but I just couldn't take the artificial flavor.

Now Kool-Aid has the liquid in the little container, and their fruit punch is very good. You can control the amount of flavor you want, weak or strong, and it is sugar and caffeine free. I took some with me on my last vacation and it worked out well.

You are funny. I read this thread just because I didn't know you had a drinking problem, and I am relieved you really don't. We drink the generic Crystal Light by the gallons. Walmart and other store brands.

i also use the crystal light stuff, comes in thin little packets and they sell a large container of them at bjs/sams club!

supposed to be calorie/sugar free!

Nice, cold spring water here. Nothing like it. (No, I don't live in MKE)

I make Arnold Palmers with Crystal Lite or same type of store brand and caffeine free iced Tea bags.

Cheers

The very best tasting water is this, IMHO.

A perfectly balanced water is this but it doesn't taste as good as from the SPA but it may be good for you. :)

I love drinking pure water and you will like it once you start drinking it regularly and prefer it over everything else and wine is a second best. ;)

There are local grocery stores that carry the Essentia water but the SPA water is harder to get. I have seen it in some restaurants but you can become a member and have it shipped.

If you like chocolate milk there is a powdered sugar free Carnation product that has a really good taste, hot or cold, imo.

OK I also have a drinking problem as I am addicted to seltzer water but only original seltzer not any of the flavored kind. In addition it's not just me but my wife, daughter and her husband and two of my grandkids are also addicted.

I used to drink a lot of soda (pop) and decided to cut out the Aspartame (I think the US has Saccharin instead). I need the diet/0 calorie version  so I tried the Crystal Lite but it too has the artifcial sweeteners in it. Now I make a huge pot of green (decaf) tea (8 tea bags in a 12 cup teapot) then let it get cold & transfer it into a big pitcher & put it in the fridge. Sometimes I find fruit flavored green tea which is really nice. I find the drink very refreshing & thirst quenching. My whole jug has zero calories and costs pennies. I have even converted some of the girls at work! :whoopie:

You all HAVE to try Rite Aid/Kroger's brand soda water in Pineapple Coconut. It tastes like iced pineapple soda. Mmmmmmmmm.

Also try these little yummies: http://www.sparklingice.com/

have you tried chopping up a cucumber, put it in a pitcher of water, leave it in the fridge for hours, and then drink it? really refreshing.

chopped up / sliced up citrus fruits in water does a good job too.
