Something new just got delivered into my email Box?

Has anyone tried this? is this indeed a new feature?

Seems like Marriott also is leaning towards the Apple iPhone world?

I guess I'll have to wait until they do an android.

I used it a bit while at the resort. I didn't bother to read the email. The app is a bit of a pain, it liked to log you out pretty quickly and if you use complex passwords it is a pain. I mean if the Facebook can be always logged in, I don't know why the MVC app can't to that too.
 
Oh yeah that's right I tried the chat feature when I was at cypress Harbor. Then I realized I needed an an iPhone
and I just cursed at them.
 
Call me old school but for the most part I don't rely on my mobile apps. I tell my wife when you need to do serious business get on the PC. I mean I'll do quick transactions or In a pinch I'll get on the mobile but for the most part give me the pc with a real keyboard.

I also tried using the char feature when at Cypress Harbour. I have Apple. The chat feature never worked while we were there. Always gave me some error message.

I have not used it except to try it once. However, I have always used the Marriott (Bonvoy) app instead and have no trouble reaching any timeshare I have tried with thus far with chat in that app. Find it easier than calling in many cases.

As far as the MVC app goes, it does support touch id. I find it doesn't even see all my stays as well, whereas the Marriott (Bonvoy) app does. Marriott IT must have coded it. :LOL:

I suspect MVC views the app as an expense line to drive up MFs as opposed to a useful app for owners. :-( It feels more like a MVC ad. Most importantly, you can not book reservations or at least search for potential availability.

IMO you are better off using a combination of the Bonvoy App to quickly check reservations or the MVC website to book reservations.

It's been out there for at least a couple years. I've been waiting for an Android app and somewhere in the message it indicates that it is coming in 2022. Based on the other responses it doesn't appear that I should be to excited when it comes.
