Must do tours in Hawaii

Something we love on Maui is the Warren and Annabelle Magic Show. Warren is incredibly funny. It is a small cabaret type show and hysterical. We have gone both times we have been in Maui. You have to be 21, because they serve drinks.

I think my family would love this. The kids are big fans of Penn & Teller but they are 20 and 19. I don't know if I dare risk buying the tickets in advance in case they ask for ID. Will they be very strict about the age requirement, I wonder??

Thank you for all your suggestions everyone. I am cutting and pasting them on a list that keeps growing!
I never would have known to take binoculars with us. What a great idea!

Big Island

On the big island, check out Ken with Kupahua for a private tour of the lava fields. We have done it twice and enjoyed it. The first time in Oct 2010 when the lava was flowing and the second time in August 2011 when it wasn't.

The afternoon whale watch trips on Muai are usually discounted because the trade winds can really whip up the ocean and it can get very choppy, makes for a rock and roll adventure. Not always but most times.
Middle of January the whales with be birthing in the Maalaea bay area so you might want to take a boat out of Ma'alaea or Blue Water Raafting from the Kihei boat ramp.

Warren and Annabelle's does check ID's. So, unless the kids want to do something else while you go, not a possibility. Maybe another trip.
