I'd like to reserve 2 units the same week at the same resort for a larger group to travel. Is there a way to find out if multiple units are available from the RCI website or do I need to call RCI to find out?

Multiple units in RCI

This is one of the reasons why I like RCI for planning large group trips. You can see online how many units are available for a particular day. I haven't been able to do this in II.
You have to drill the search down to the particular day. As an example: I just looked for March 7 at Cape Cod Holiday Estates in Mashpee MA. The search results will show there are 2 units available. The key is looking at the particular day in your search.

Is there a difference in RCI Points vs Weeks in how this displays? I don't see the number of available units in my search results, just the number of checkin nights -

- A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Both RCI and II will only show you the number of different unit size/configurations available for a day. They will not show you how many are available of the exact same type of unit. You could call or you could hold one and then open another browser and try to hold or confirm another one. You can even confirm one and then call to cancel if their are no other units available or if it won't let you finalize the second hold you have (phantom unit). You can always get a refund as long as you cancel within 24 hours.
