I have booked 2 apartments x 2 weeks (4 getaways in total), it is for my husband & I with our 3 kids and my parents. Can I check in with both apartments in my name or do I need to put another adult for the 2nd apartment if I am checked in for the first one?

Is this through II? Are they Marriott properties?

Leave them in your name as long as you will be there at check in and that way you don’t need guest certificates.
edit- I answered this assuming the booking is through II.

Thanks. I just prefer to have points for the usage while there!

Yes Harbour Lake, all getways through II. a guest certificate isn’t a problem as I have platinum membership it’s more I want to claim the points for both apartments!

Typically if stays are concurrent they won't give you credit for more than 1 night elite stay regardless of how many units you have. Are you asking about incidentals charged to the room or just night credits?

When we have 2 units I’ll put one in my name and Bonvoy number and the other in my husbands name and bonvoy number.

forgot to do that on a recent trip to Palm Desert and only got credit for 1 room. We had few incidentals but I was hoping for the 1000 arrival points.

This is what we do. The OP can likely change one reservation to a spouse's name and # but they'll likely have to change the number on check in. I've never gotten points for multiple villas at the same resort for the same exact time. I have often gotten points on overlapping stays or from different resorts for the same dates.

You mean you don’t get points on the charges to the room? Probably I can just tell my parents to bill everything to whatever my room number is then.

No I don't get credit for the nights. We usually have very little charges so the nights credits is more important to me.
