MP and PB resorts 1 in 4 yr rule? Madge please reply...

Hello Madge,

Although I have been reading this board ever since it all started on the old TUG bbs, this is my first post to you.

So first I will say, thank you for still being here! And I lift my hat off to you especially for being as upfront as you possibly can in your responses to the many various questions posted on this board.

Now onto my two part question.

I have exchanged into the Mayan Palace and Grand Mayan Riviera Maya resort on one 3 consecutive week exchange 2 years ago. Can I exchange into another MP and GM for another 3 consecutive week exchange or does the 1 in 4 golden rule include all the MP and GM resorts?

I am thinking along the lines that it is only the MP & GM that I exchanged into that I would not be able to return to. Is this correct?

Also I have the same question concerning the Pueblo Bonito resorts. I exchanged into the PB Emerald Bay this year, can I go to another PB resort? Or does the golden rule apply for all of the PB resorts?

Your clean cut answer is appreciated here, as I am sooo confused with this rule... And the VG's give me mixed responses, so your the lady I'm depending on to get the correct straight answer! Thanks!

And while you are checking PB resorts, I have a question to go along with the above. As owners of PB Sunset beach, are there any limitations on exchanging into our own resort or into any of the other PB resorts? There are years when we would like to get an exchange week to use prior to or after our own week.

PB exchanges

It is my understanding that if you own a PB the 1 in 4 does not apply

Don't know about how Mayan resorts work

I am still awaiting Madge's reply to my post.

I am not an owner, my question is to exchange into these resorts.

I am confident Madge will come thru with the correct answer and will finally put this to rest, so I can either move on to other exchange options or grab an exchange into these resorts while they are still available...

Mayan Resorts enforces the one-in-four rule across all of its properties. If you visit one, you will not be able to visit another for four years. You may also find information from previous discussions helpful here and here.

So I guess I'm going back to the bottom of the line in answering to this thread, but I would like your reply for the other part of my question.

What about the Pueblo Bonito 1 in 4 year rule?? Does it pertain to all the PB resorts just like the MP rule?

Sorry to have neglected your Pueblo Bonito question. I am not aware that Pueblo Bonito enforces its one-in-four rule across all of its resorts. If you visit one Pueblo Bonito resort, you will simply not be able to visit that specific resort again for four years.
