Am taking a poll as to the most romantic site on Oahu or the Big Island. I have a friend who wants to propose to his girlfriend there! So far, all I can think of is the outside terrace at the Hapuna Prince Hotel in Waikoloa area. Any other suggestions? Thanks (June time frame):whoopie:

Big Island.

There is a little white chapel and a lovely garden at Keahoe Bay. Just on the south side on Kona.

Right behind the Turtle Bay resort on the north shore of Oahu, there is a bench that overlooks the ocean. Most gorgeous view, then followed by dinner at Ola's. Either the bench during the day, or the restaurant after sunset.

I think a nice stroll along Kailua beach on the east side of Oahu would be divine. It's one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Then head to downtown Kailua for a bite to eat. :)

My husband would vote for the outdoor dining area under the ancient Hau trees at the Hau Tree Restaurant at the New Otani Hotel, Waikiki outskirts. The food is good too!

Any of the beaches in the Waikoloa area at sunset...A beach, Hapuna, there are several in the area and the sunsets are awesome. We went down almost every night.

Wow! Memories come rushing back! We had our wedding day dinner there and remember it as one of those magical lifetime memories. I've tried for years since to find the opakapaka dish I had that night but never have succeeded.

In Kona at Huggo's restaurant at sunset, the bar has seating right on the beach - having a Mai Tai barefoot on the sand with the tiki torches lit -- great!

Along with the Hapuna Prince idea would be the Mauna Kea, which has reopened after extensive reservations.
