Most popular rental booking day?

We have owned 2 weeks at the Marriott Marbella (Spain) Beach Resort since 1999. We only stayed at the resort twice before buying an apt in Marbella. After that we have successfully rented our week every summer (Gold week, last days of June into July). Many years ago I was told by an advisor that Saturday is the most preferred booking day so I've always tried to get a reservation to start the last Saturday in June. However, I just now read elsewhere that people prefer to start their vacation rentals on Sunday.

What is your experience? Which days do you try to reserve as start days?

I prefer my vacation to be Saturday-to-Saturday. That gives me Sunday to recover and retool before the next work week starts.

More importantly:

we have successfully rented our week every summer (Gold week, last days of June into July)

You don't have a problem that needs fixing, so why bother changing it?

Saturday is always my preference. For those employed Mon to Friday it allows travel on Saturday and a day at home to reset before getting back to the office.

We also own a beach house we rent out. Saturday is hands down the preferred check-in.

Saturday is my preference for most of my vacations if I'm only going for a week, but getting all the way to Europe I would need an extra day. I would likely be flying overnight on Saturday and arriving Sunday. I imagine there are plenty of people renting from the UK though, so Sat-Sat is probably just fine for most.

If I'm going for longer than a week I prefer Sun-Sun week followed by the cheap days at a nearby HGVC. I'm sure that's not at all helpful. The front desk could tell you their busiest check in day.
