DW and I just got the updated jab yesterday. We have a big family event in Oct.

Had dinner with friends where she came down with it as they were traveling through Arkansas. She recovered without issues.

I think it is wonderful news. There is what they’re calling a “swell” vs a “surge “ happening now, but I think the government is trying to stay ahead of the winter season and also encourage more people to get tested and treated early.

The fall and winter season will undoubtedly bring us more Covid, RSV, and flu and the more at home testing, at least for Covid, the better. People will know to ask their physicians about paxlovid and be more careful about going out hopefully.
