I notice that the TV set I bought from Costco is on sale for a few hundred dollars than what I paid for it several months ago. So I called to say "wasssup with that?!" The VERY nice lady on the other end of the phone said "No problema," take your receipt to your nearest warehouse and they'll give you the difference!

Yippeee!

I had the same thing happen with a vacuum. However, I was told that 60 days after purchase the item needs to be returned and repurchased in order to get the lower price.

Costco is DA BOMB! If you don't understand my slang, I mean "It's THE BEST RETAIL STORE BAR NONE"!!!!!

Thanks, I cannot wait now for our to be built Costco.

Too Good to be True - But I still Love Costco.

I was already to go to the store and I sat down at the PC to get the sale information I saw a two days before. The set was GONE! They blew it out at the sale price - a 56" Sharp DLP set for $999! But, since I still believe in Santa, I called (my local store this time) to see if there was anything I could do. Answer - no. The price warranty is only good for 30 days. Beyond that, you can return and repurchase - biznezz is biznezz I suppose. I could not return and repurchase of course because the set is no longer available - timing is everything.

I still love the big box though.

Hmm, too bad they won't let you return the set and then just re-buy the exact same one.

I liked Costco's service too.

Recently my husband and I visited our local Costco. When we left, I offered to unload the cart, but my dear husband encouraged me to sit in the car while he unloaded everything. When finished, he put the cart away, and failed to notice that there were still two items in the bottom of the cart. As soon as we noticed that these items weren't in the car, we went back to Costco. We hoped that the person who brings in the carts might have noticed the items and set them aside. That had not happened; the items were gone. However, we were delighted and appreciative when Costco replaced the items (about $30 total). They did not have to do this; it was our fault for not checking the bottom of the cart. However, this type of "above and beyond the call of duty" service makes me want to shop at Costco again.

Not only does Costco treat its customers very well, it also treats it employees very well. Employees at Costco stores avergage $17 hour and pay only 9% of their health insurance costs.

This is a good article about costco.
