Months Most Likely to Be Matched

We are ready to put in an OGS for specific resorts thru RCI weeks for 2017. At this point the only time that we can't go would be late May/early June. We want one week on Kauai and another on the Big Island.

I believe there is a 12 week window for searches, so which months should I enter so as to be successful?

The period from Labor Day to mid-December is one of the low demand seasons in Hawaii (the other being late April to mid-June).

That said, both Kauai and the Big Island are usually VERY easy to get in RCI, almost any time. Oahu and Maui are the harder islands to get in RCI. If we want to include one of those islands on a trip, we try to lock those in first, then fill in with Kauai or the Big Island.

Early December is our favorite time to go, partially because the availability is a bit better, partially because the weather is so much better than at home then, and partially as a reward for the strenuous schedules we have in October and November.
