I have seen some Wyndham resale ads that state the new owner may transfer the payment of the monthly fee to a yearly fee. Is this true for all new resale buyers at any resort? Or is this only true for some resorts?

In general, points owners have monthly fees, and owners that own a deed week/no points have yearly fees.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think all Wyndham owners can choose to pay yearly rather than monthly (which I think is the default).

Wyndham points owners can chose, but all your contracts will be set up the same way.

You see different things on ebay because some of the contracts are set up one way and some another

My points account are set up on a monthly pay system, my fixed weeks are billed annually

So, am I to understand that I can choose even though I would have bought resale?
Thanks for all the help.

I own a fixed week Wyndham contract...The resort charges me my MF fees instead of Wyndham...They don't offer a way for me to pay monthly...That would have been SOO much more convenient for me though!

Just divide your yearly MF's by 12 and set up a automatic transfer to a
Savings account. That what I do and it's nice to have it ready when that bill
Comes.:D

Yes you can choose

from the wyndham website

Assessment billing for the CLUB WYNDHAM® Plus Assessment may be paid annually or in monthly installments. You have several payment options to choose from. While the Auto-Pay Plan is the most convenient method to pay your assessment fees, you may also choose to make a one-time online payment or be billed. Please keep in mind an $8 service charge applies per billing cycle for direct billing.
