Both share the same grounds and no building is more than about 300 yards from the farthest other building. Pretty contained area bounded by two holes on the golf course.
MSE
- lock offs, so you will have two entrances for a 2BR and it will feel like you are in a one BR with an adjoining hotel room.
- closer to the outdoor pool (closed in October), tennis, kids playground, and activities center
- buildings look like a big Residence Inn from the outside. Three buildings, three stories each with a long hallway down the center of each floor.
- furnishings are similar to MMC in quality and style
- ice machines are on the first floor with the public washer/dryers
- balconies overlook woods, common ground, or golf (only on end units)
- across the street from the main building, owners lounge, marketplace, spa, indoor pool.
MMC
- no lock offs, so the unit feels like a two bedroom condo.
- same side as marketplace, main building, spa, indoor pool, owners lounge (in Governors Manor)
- half of the balconies overlook the golf course, half overlook the common area
- buildings and grounds are very colonial looking
- buildings contain about 16 units on three floors each.
- across the street from tennis, outdoor pool, activities center, playground
I own at MSE, and you get a lot for your week because of the lock off feature. I almost exclusively stay in MMC when I go there because of my comments above. It costs me an exchange fee, but it's worth it.
