I spotted an interesting condo for sale at WKL, apparently some of the Bay Club villas are in private hands.

Interesting. I wonder how much the HOA dues are if you own there? Bet it's not anywhere close to the timeshare MF. I think we are subsidizing them. :annoyed:

I submitted a question, lets see what we can find out.

I've had my eye on one up near the Queens Mkt that is $100K cheaper, it runs $825 month, thats $200 and pocket change a week :).

The whole owner probably doesn't get/use cleaning or front desk services, so it wouldn't really be fair for them to pay for them.

Didn't get the interior upgraded judging by the pictures, but the exterior has been painted.

This is the description of what HOA covers on a unit near Queens Mkt, the master insurance on all the buildings, water, sewer, trash service, maintenance on the common areas, pool, fitness center and resident manager.* Maintenance fees are based on square footage of the unit.*

I could be wrong, but I think this MLS listing is part of the Shores at Waikoloa development. The units are similar to the Bay Club units, but are either wholly owned and/or managed by Aston.

Here are some examples of other units at that development:

The address and pictures on the listing are Bay Club. The Aston units are just across the fairway from BC and are the same design and construction.
