We are considering a minimum Portfolio Points purchase with Hyatt's offer to "Hyattize" our legacy weeks which were purchased resale. If we go ahead with this our weeks would be considered hybrid weeks. From personal experience or knowledge, what is the minimum number of points purchased to accomplish this. Please comment your experience, as the number keeps changing from the first time we considered doing this a couple of years ago. Please post the number of points purchased and price per point paid.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

We have been presented with both 660 and 330 points as the minimum. We don’t recall the price per point and we did not purchase anything. We own two resale weeks and have been happy with the way we can use the units in the Heritage program.

what do you miss with resales that you want with the purchase?

I'd recommend as many many other do to buy a week at one of the lower maintenance cost location like Pinon Point. IMO buying points is a huge cost and zero REAL benefit.

What do you see in Portfolio where you would want to spend a significant amout of money for a few points?
