microsoft excel 2003

I am trying to print a spread sheet with excel 2003. Every time I set the printing area and print the page the letters for the columns on the very top of the page appear as well as the row numbers on the left for the columns. Can anyone tell me what setting I may have to change to keep this from happening

On the Page Setup dialog (from the "File" drop down menu) ...

Click on the tab for "Sheet". Clear the check box for "Row and Column Headings".
