MICROSOFT BIDS FAREWELL TO WINDOWS 7 AND THE MILLIONS OF PCS THAT STill RUN IT

When they first said they were going to do this I switched to a ChromeBook and have never regretted it...

I hate Win10. Just upgraded this past fall. I do mostly photo editing. I don’t like the display in Pictures or Photos. I don’t like the color backgrounds and themes. I have not found any new features that are of any use to me. Too many choices of minute details. Color me sad.

On my HP laptop, I split the drive (partitioned), one side is Linux Mint Cinnamon, the other side is Windows 10. I use Mint for day-to-day stuff, Win10 just for firmware updates and iTunes. Mint is EXTREMELY fast, Windows is slow. Mint is virus-free, Windows is always susceptible (if you were around computers in the 1990s, geeks said antivirus companies made viruses, told the world of this new threat, then created their software to beat it). Mint is secure right out of the box, Windows needs extra settings to secure it.
