You might get some letters promising some action. I'd ignore them. If, on the outside chance they are able to put a derogatory note on any of the US credit reporting companies, you are entitled to write a rebuttal that would have to also be sent to any potential creditor.
Out of curiosity, back 3 weeks ago, why were you 'not able to cancel it right away'? A simple handwritten letter that you don't want to proceed with this sale could have saved you all this anxiety. Just sayin'.
