Message from Resort Acquisitions concerning the Timeshare Liquidators issue.

How do you know it is the same guy? There are lots of scammers out there when it comes to timeshare. Could be an entirely different guy that works for Resort Acquisitions, LLC or Vacation Solutions, LLC, or many of the other aliases.

I bought from tsrecycler and he is a reseller for this same group. I know this is fact because I saw Vacation Solutions LLC on the deed to the property.

I know because....

I have an invoice from him, with the name & I also spent the effort to
check out the North Carolina Real Estate Commission web site for the
realtors liscence information & I checked the name when Mr Mike introduced himself on this thread on this board.
That being said, I hope it's just a misunderstanding caused by the association with Timeshare Liquidators.
But.....

Has anyone received their deed yet? I called Mike Rowell this week and talked to one of his employees. He gave me the number of the attorney who supposedly has been working on the deed from my May ebay purchase since 7/31. I called the attorney but haven't heard from him yet.

By the way, when I called Mr. Mike's number, the company name on their recording is no longer Resort Acquisitions - now it's something like Quality Recreation:confused:

I have spoken with a man name Don who Mike Rowell referred too as the office manager, he told me that the lawyer had my paperwork also since July 31st. I have called and spoke with the lawyer twice the first time he said that he didn't recognize my name but was going to go through all the files to see if he had my paperwork. I called him back on 8/14 to see if he had found my deed yet and he said that he hadn't had time to check for it yet, but he had a meeting with Mike and Don that afternoon about all of the files that he had and that he would be contacting people soon. I figure I will give him until the middle of next week and then I will contact the Detective in Woodfin NC and speak to him about it. I know that the Detective knows who Mike and Don are, and I am sure that he will not be pleased that we are being yanked around by another company again especially since he has already put people in jail. The US Attorneys Office is involved with any Timeshare Liquidators case that has gone back to Mike and Don to be completed.

I spoke with Greg Bennett the lawyer for Resort Acquistions today, he told me that at this point in time anybody who purchased a Resort Acquisitions timeshare through timeshareliquidators will not be getting their deed until funds that the police seized from timeshareliquidators case that belong to Resort Acquisitions have been released to them. He told me that until they have their money they cant afford to pay the transfer fees out of their own pocket. And the US Attorneys office and DA are not willing to release the funds at this point in time. I am going to call the Detective again, to see what he can tell me. If anybody has any other info. please let me know. Thanks

Just wanted to post a postive remark here....I think everyone could use some encouraging news.

I was caught up in this whole mess too!! I bought on EBAY from Timeshare Liq...and then after I sent money...they closed shop. I called everyone I could and finially spoke to Mike. He was able to find my file, identify it as one of his listings...and help me finish this transfer. Yesterday I was notified by Fairfield that it was in fact 100% complete!!

We had to back track to the original sellers and have them sign paperwork all over again...but Mike was a true Angel in my eyes. Without his help...I would have been out THOUSANDS of dollars!!

He is working to help those who got scammed...to recoup what they paid for. It has been seven months...but it did happen.

Sue

Just in case someone needs it. The Detectives name is Don Guge in the Woodfin Sheriffs Dept. His number is 1-828-253-4889. I don't believe he is in the office on weekends. Good Luck.

I purchased my time share in March which was way before timeshareliquidators closed shop. Resort Acquisions should of had my money along time ago.

Has anyone recieved any news/updates regarding their timeshare purchase?
