Recently experienced my first home accident when I pulled the tendons from my knee just before leaving for Maui and Kauai. I can move around ok on crutches but wanted to have the option of a wheelchair rental for both our stops. Apris Medical Equipment in Maui has reasonable rates ($32.00 per week) for a large wheel wheelchair and will deliver it for and additional charge.

Gammi in Lihue will deliver equipment directly to your resort od is available for pickup at their location on Kuhio Hwy.

There are other medical business options available on the islands but these offered a variety of equipment and delivery at a reasonable price.

Please modify if this post is inappropriate. Thank you.

Sorry to hear you hurt yourself and hope you are healing rapidly.

Be sure and check the hours for Gami on Kauai--I don't believe they are open on Sat or Sun.

Heal fast and get back to Hawaii.
