If Ocean View or Ocean Front is important to you, you should use Destination Points. Even if you lucked out and got an interval trade, interval trades do not guarantee view, whereas you can book your choice of view with Points.
Looking to book a OF studio unit for MOC April 2023..a OF studio in Napoli/Lahaina buildings is 400 DC Points more than an OF studio in Molokai/Lanai buildings…is it worth the 450 points more for the week?
Studios similar in both, only 1BR has full kitchen and washer/dryer difference between buildings.
That said, I'd go with the old tower as the rooms and balcony are a bit larger, though be careful about getting an OF studio in the Lanai tower, as the outside corner unit faces the parking lot and Lahaina tower. More OV in my mind.

Personally, I'd stay in a 1 bedroom in the new towers BUT if I had to choose a studio, I'd rather do the old tower.
Mostly because the balcony on new tower studio is much smaller than the old tower and we spend a fair amount of time out on the balcony. AND both studios have just a mini kitchen so the kitchens don't matter.

My wife and I are gifting my son and fiancé 2 weeks in Hawaii for their honeymoon in April 2023..first week will be OF studio at MOC..they also love to spend time out on the balcony relaxing,so they prefer a studio OF in Maui..I think the Molokai tower would be my choice..their 2nd week will be 1 BR OV at Ko’Olina…thanks for the reply
Napili has its own pool and bar. If you’re in Lahaina you’ll use, for better or worse, the main pool and bar. That’s more of a walk. If you’ve got youngish kids, that may be preferred. If not, like us, I greatly prefer Napili. I prefer being closer to Whaler’s Village, and I prefer having our own less crowded pool and poolside bar.
We have never stayed in the new towers, but why would you end up using the main pool if you were in the Lahaina Tower….doesn’t it have its own pool? Thanks so much!
