Maui encore package price

Is it a good deal? We are staying at Marriott Ocean Club Napili tower; didn’t go to an owner update as they call it now but was giving this option: 6 days/5 nights in studio at Westin N or S for $999, paying $200 now and $800 when booking. Stay will be at Westin, not here. It can be also used on other islands but we love Maui and will be back next May again. Thinking to use one week as an exchange and add this package as we realise that 1 week is not enough. So what do you think? They also give 20,000 bonvoy points to this package or $100 resort credit.

$900 net for five nights in a Westin Kaanapali studio seems like a good deal, especially when used as a trip extender as you propose.

But get a guarantee that you will be in a North studio, not a South studio. Some of the latter have really bad parking lot views.

I called the reservation number and was told it depends on my dates if N or S would be available. Thank you I will make sure it’s N then.

Make sure you know all the costs of the package. We bought an encore last year in Utah (but it wasn't resort-specific, so it might have been a slightly different package than what they offered you in Maui).
In addition to the purchase price, there was a $95 administrative fee, plus depending on the time of year when you wanted to reserve, they charged a premium for "high" season (in our case, an extra $100/night to go to Boston in May). They conveniently didn't mention those added fees when selling the package (we only found out when we went to make an actual reservation).

You r so right. We booked Las Vegas that was just $299 for 3 nights but during booking they added $100 or $150 for checking on Thursday and also more for holiday weekend. Seems as early May is not a special time so should not have extras but thank you for mentioning it.
