Anyone stayed at either the Marriott Downtown or the Marriott Courtyard Downtown? They appear to be located quite near each other so wondered if anyone has any opinions about them. I tried to search the boards but couldn't narrow it down to find anything about them. We're thinking of using some MRP's to stay in Phillie in February- over Presidents day weekend.

Thanks! tlwmkw

do the courtyard and save the points

I live in the area and have monthly company meetings at the Courtyard. The two are very close to eachother. Only if you have to be at the convention center is it worth the additional points in my opinion to stay at the full service Marriott.

The two Marriotts are right next to each other. I have stayed at the Courtyard a few times. They have a nice corner King executive mini suite which is located on each corner of the building. It has a pull out couch. If you stay there ask for a room facing city hall for your best location. If you have a little flexibility in timing, the Philadelphia Flower Show runs March 1st-6th. There is so much to do in Philly and great restaruants. Enjoy.
