A newbie question for sure.....

I was just looking over various Marriott Hilton Head resorts' calendars, and was surprised to see hat week numbers do not line up for all these resorts,
example:

MGO and Harbour Point 2009 week #1 (Sat) starts 1/3/09
Monarch week #1 (Sat) .................. starts 1/10/09

So when doing Marriott reservations and II exchanges.... are weeks numbers used to indicate a specific week, or are actual dates used? Seems as if week numbers could cause confusion and/or errors in some cases if not careful. Thanks

In both cases - making reservations with Marriott and confirming exchanges with II - you'll be dealing with specific dates, not week numbers.

Yes, Monarch has a different numbering system for weeks than most other Marriott resorts. But as long as you focus on dates, you'll have no problem.
