We just purchased a platinum week at Barony Beach Club through Seth Nock. The closing company contacted Marriott on the 30th day and Marriott faxed the waiver the next day.

Does anyone know Marriott's price for a platinum oceanside week at Barony Beach Club?

We were just at Barony this past week. The resort has been sold out for sometime and Marriott was not actively selling or advertising units for sale. They do have an "international" sales office over at Surfwatch but they are not even actively selling that property as they have very few units remaining. They seem to be concentrating on selling Ocean Watch in Myrtle Beach.

Well somebody somewhere is moving inventory because I just got a call from the resales dept letting me know that they just received a signed purchase contract on my gold oceanview Barony Week

The selling price is ~35K for a platinum oceanside unit. As of last summer the garden view was 27K and oceanside just under 35K. The salesman will sell resale units if they have any. We went to a tour at Surf Watch.

Last summer there were only 1 or 2 units and they sold while we were there. I am surprised it passed through ROFR unless you are paying 60% of these prices. Reason being is that they tend to sell as fast as they come in. Congratulations!

Beverley,

Thanks. We paid about 55% of the selling price you included in your post.
