During online booking and then on-property I noticed that Marriott Vacation Club has moved to Green branding. It seems the transition has been from Marriott Red to Gold then Silver (both with some lingering Marriott Red on property) to now Marriott Green with no signs of Marriott Red.

The gold and silver were more neutral and I still recall some red so I didn't think much about it at the time but the bold Green, along with seeing no more Red branding, made me take notice

Other than asserting their independence from Marriott Hotels, any other thoughts or comments?

Marriott.com has also dropped the red. Mostly blue now.

Based on experience, whenever I see a new color (or more commonly a different shade of the same color) I think
New VP of Marketing. Or Director of Marcom. And 99% of the time it is true...

Green, huh? Well, I'm certainly glad to know those new VPs are earning their salaries.

My thoughts are... I'm glad we're talking about signage color and not IT departments and rude salespeople.
