$953 MF for a 1 bedroom . not for me . I am almost marriott free as I can't see paying the high MF "s when all I do is trade . I am going to buy a resort in marathon ,fl to go to every yr and use my eoy CPV week 52 bought on e-bay for $700 to trade with . it trades great and the MF's are only $450 . I will probably pick up another cheap trader on e-bay . I was looking at a kona coast 1 bdrm for only $100 (no bids ) but I want to make sure my sale goes thru before buying anymore . don't get me wrong I love the marriott resorts but my fees seemed to be going up faster on them then other non -marriotts .

Yup that's a high amount of MF for a unit that you cannot lockoff since its only a 1BR unit. Although our Aruba Marriott MF are a little higher we are able to lockoff our 2BR unit and then deposit the 1BR side for an AC. So in theory we can get THREE weeks a year for our $1K in maintenance fees. It makes the high priced MF a bit more palatable!!!

Also not sure the trading value of summer weeks in Breck. Also isn't this property (like Vail) not the nicest in terms of Marriott quality? We were in Breck a couple of years ago and stayed at the Grand Timber Lodge rather than the Marriott since the reviews were only so-so.

Low Selling Price for a Marriott Week

It goes to show you how bad the economy has become if a Marriott timeshare weeks sells for only $1.

Would have been unheard of a year or two ago!

I stayed at this resort just last month and was very UNIMPRESSED. They force you to park two blocks away because they have such a small underground parking lot, and then take a shuttle back to the resort. The 1 bdrm was also built very oddly - gigantic walk in closet large enough for about a hundred wedding dresses and probably 5 dozen pairs of shoes, yet the bathrooms were tiny. Jetted tub fits only one. Requested high chair by calling front desk - it never showed up. Only reason I stayed here was my home timeshare was sold out for the weekend...

Thanks that confirms why I didn't bid on it. High maintenance fee for a 1BR and not the best reviews, but it's still a Marriott and I figured I could get Marriott preference on trades into Marriott so I still can't believe it went for just $1.

My other concern was some of the Vail Marriott's were disaffiliated about a year or two ago and figured this in one Breckenridge might be next and then without the Marriott affiliation, I didn't think it would have any value?????? :crash:
